The mountain hotel Remata, a wellness hotel, offers guests a wide range of services to fill your free time. Hotel attractions are enjoyable for both adults and children. The bowling center with a bar is open year-round for guests. In addition to two bowling lanes, you can enjoy billiards, foosball, darts, air hockey, and a fully equipped children's corner. The bowling center is also an ideal venue for corporate disco nights or karaoke.

On sunny days, the hotel grounds feature several attractions for children as well as a wide variety of sports activities. Enjoy sandboxes, slides, swings, a tennis court with artificial grass, two table tennis tables, a footvolley court, volleyball, squash, and many more services available right at the hotel.

    - with two lanes, it caters to all age groups. It's very popular during corporate events as well as family stays. The bowling center also features billiards, foosball, and darts.

    - the artificial grass court is located in the hotel grounds right next to the outdoor pool. You can also rent tennis rackets and balls. The tennis court can be used for volleyball, footvolley, and mini football with small goals.
  • INDOOR PLAYGROUND
    - situated near the hotel wellness center, it is used for various simple exercises, yoga, or fitness training. It’s popular for dance and other sports camps.
  • AIR HOCKEY AND ELECTRONIC DARTS
    - these activities are especially popular among children and youth, and they add a fun element to corporate events.
  • TABLE TENNIS
    - two table tennis tables provide the opportunity to organize a small corporate tournament or simply enhance a family stay.

Hiking in the Area

The mountain hotel Remata is situated in a mountainous environment, where you’ll find numerous hiking trails and attractions. The most famous landmark is Bralová Rock, which majestically towers above the hotel. In favorable weather conditions, visibility from Bralová Rock extends to the highest peak in the region — Kľak.

  • Educational Trail Remata - Ráztočno
    - this trail runs through the recreational area of Remata, which is part of the Ráztočno municipality. It continues through Sklenárske Meadows and Ráztočnianske Lazy, leading to the village of Ráztočno. Difficulty: Moderate, Length: 8.5 km (approximately 4-4.5 hours)

  • Ornamental Ponds and Navaho Riding Club
    - just 2 km from the hotel, you’ll find the Ornamental Ponds Remata, where guests can try fishing. A complete fishing equipment rental is available. There are also various swings and slides for the little ones. Additionally, the Navaho Riding Club is located 4 km from the hotel.

Culture and Excursions

One of the most famous and beautiful castles in Central Europe, Bojnice Castle, is just 20 km from the hotel (a 20-minute drive). Throughout the year, Bojnice Castle hosts numerous events and festivals that attract many visitors.
Right next to Bojnice Castle is the largest zoo in Slovakia. The town of Bojnice offers, in addition to the castle and zoo, thermal baths, a dinosaur park, and a prehistoric museum.

  • Observation Tower Čajka v Oblakoch
    - just a short hike from Bojnice, visitors can access the newly built observation tower Čajka v Oblakoch. This 30-meter tall tower is open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM and offers stunning views of Bojnice, the castle, and the entire Prievidza basin.
  • Train Trip to Turčianske Teplice
    - only 5 minutes from the hotel, the Remata train station is located in the forest. The train takes you to the spa town of  Turčianske Teplice in 25 minutes, where you’ll find a well-known aquapark. This trip is especially popular with children, as the train passes through the second longest tunnel in Slovakia.

  • Čičmany - Rajecká Lesná
    - 60 km from the hotel lies the open-air museum in Čičmany, known for its unique architecture and museum. Approximately 5 km from Čičmany is the largest wooden nativity scene in Rajecká Lesná, showcasing the most interesting historical buildings from across Slovakia and examples of traditional crafts from various regions.
  • Banská Štiavnica
    - this UNESCO-protected town is just 55 km from the hotel. Banská Štiavnica offers countless museums and historical buildings, mainly focusing on the mining industry. 4 km from Banská Štiavnica is the St. Anton Museum, where you can view a large hunting exhibition.
  • Upper Nitra Mining Open-Air Museum - Cígeľ Mine
    - the Upper Nitra Mining Open-Air Museum is located in the area of the former Cígeľ mine (35 km from the hotel). The tour begins on the surface and continues with a ride on a mining train for 2,312 meters into the brown coal mine. It is followed by a walking tour of the underground mining spaces, at a minimum depth of 80 meters below the surface, in the former part of the second mining sector. The walking portion of the tour in the mine is 566 meters long in one direction.
  • Golf Driving Range - Sebedražie
    - this Scottish-style golf facility, the first of its kind in Slovakia, is located above the village of Sebedražie near Prievidza. The training center includes a 6-hole academy, driving range, chipping and putting greens, and a large putting academy called "High Tatra." Golf enthusiasts can repeatedly hit net targets at various distances and terrains. On the Tatra green, a large 18-hole course spans 1,400 square meters, allowing practice of all golf shots.
