History

Mountain hotel Remata was built in  20th century when the railway from Prievidza to Turčianske Teplice was constructed. Around the year 1920 was an old hotel building purchased by well-known manufacturers of shoes, Tomáš Baťa .

 

 

Subsequently, the written history of hotel Handlova Mine, that of small accommodations built a larger device . It was used mainly for recreation of employees of mines as well as a children's ski camps . During this period, they built terraced characteristic of the hotel , and built the original summer pool . At the beginning of the 90s had already passed under the administration of Hotel Banik Handlova town , which brought into service in 1995.









Than the hotel was sold to the MV staving company, which hotel was completely rebuild and now Mountain hotel Remata is one of the most modern hotel facilities in the region.
