Spare time

The mountain hotel Remata offers for their costumer and clients’ wide selection of services those will fulfil your spare time. We have attractions as for the kids as for the adults.
All year round is open the bowling centre with bowling bar for our customers. Two bowling lines, snooker and football table, darts and fully equipment kids’ corner are available for our costumers as well as for your company’s meetings or karaoke.

During the sunny days we have prepared a few kids attractions and sporting opportunities outside and inside such as: sandpit, slides, swings, tennis court with plastic grass, 2 table tennis tables, football, volleyball.

Ski centre Remata is situated 200 m from the hotel. This ski centre has 3 ski lifts (one of them is for kids). The length of ski slope is 800 metres in total. The ski conditions are great until the end of March thank to artificial snow. Night skiing is very popular especially for company’s clients and families with kids.

2 km down the hill are located fish pounds where you can try to catch the fish. They hold all equipment such as fishing sticks and rods, etc. For kids is established a kids corner with swings and slides.

Trips

Mountain hotel Remata has a great location for organizing the family trips approximately 60 km from the hotel are situated very interesting historical places and buildings.

SPA Turčianske Teplice - Sklenné Teplice

200 meters from the hotel in a small forest is situated a train station which will leads you directly to the spa town T.Teplice. This trip is a perfect as you „day out“especially when the weather is not too reasonable.

The trip is perfect for its distance what ´s only 20 minutes by train (+5 minutes from train station to the spa).

Spa town T.Teplice offers thermal waters, toboggans and other kids attractions.

Bojnice castle

The most beautiful and well known castle in the middle Europe is located about 20 km from the hotel (20 min. by car). Bojnice castle organizes large number of attractions and festivals during the year.

ZOO Bojnice

Right by the castle is situated the biggest ZOO in Slovakia. Bojnice town offers thermal spas and outdoor swimming pool.

Čičmany - Rajecká Lesná

This museum Čičmany is located 60 km from the hotel. It is a perfect place with interesting unique architecture. About 5 km from the village Čičmany is located the biggest wooden handmade Bethlehem in Rajecká Lesná which represents the most interested buildings in Slovakia as well as different parts and regions.

Banská Štiavnica

This town is situated 55 km from the hotel and is under UNESCO protection. Banská Štiavnica offers for its visitors many museums and historical buildings especially for mining industry and history. 4 km from this town is Museum St Anton where you can see a large hunting exposition.

The Upper Nitra mining museum

The Upper Nitra mining museum is located 35 km from hotel. The journey starts on the Eath surface, then the little train wile take down to the caves with brown coal. The journey lenght is 566 m.

Golf training centre - Sebedražie

Golf training centre is situated upon the village Sebedražie, not far from town Prievidza, in aproximately of 30 km from hotel. It´s a port of a first golf training centre scotish style. Golf tees with 16 places is now used for training first two moves. Tatra green putting green has 18 roles and is layed on 1400 square metres. Here you can train all the golf moves.

The Harmanec cave

The Harmanec cave is one of the most popular in Slovakia and is situated about 70 km by Banská Bystrica town. It is also know as "White Lady" thank to the limestone. The journey lenght is 1020 m, what is about 60 minute of walk with temperature between 5,8-6,4 °C.

Vyhne

Vyhne village is well known for its mining history, spa thermal waters and Slovak oldest brewery "Steiger". It is also a great place for making tours with beatiful hills and views. It is situated 42 km away by the "Žiar nad Hronom" town.
